Here we are, days away from the 2024 elections, and I’m going to tell you how you should vote.
But first, a few questions I think everyone should be asking.
1. Is your vote counted?
“Every vote counts!” It’s a slogan frequently used, and for good reason. When there’s an election where everyone’s vote is counted up to determine a winner, then every vote counts.
But is every vote counted? All of the voting booths that I’ve been to consist of a machine with some lights and buttons next to the candidates’ names. You click click some buttons, light up some names, and then “boop boop beep beep” and your vote goes… where?
It’s recorded, we are assured. But how do we know that it is recorded correctly? Where is it stored? Can we ever verify that the way it is stored is the way we entered it? Are these machines connected to the internet?
The machine could spit out completely made up results at the end of the day and unless you ask everyone at your precinct how they voted, you would never know the difference.
Also, is your vote counted as one whole vote? Because if dead people and illegals are voting, then your one vote is diluted to less than one.
2. Is there even a “good” candidate to elect?
Let’s assume that the machine counts your vote accurately. Is there a good candidate to elect?
What was Donald Trump doing before he became president? He was an actor on teevee, of course! You probably know him from The Apprentice, which he co-produced and hosted from 2004-2015. Did you know he was also a part of pro wrestling?
The media portray pro wrestling as real, but everyone knows that it’s all scripted. The storyline, the rivalries, everyone involved is acting, just like in a movie or teevee show. But unlike a movie set, these wrestlers have to constantly maintain the illusion in front of a live audience, and to a degree even outside of the wrestling ring, such as magazine interviews or public appearances. This portrayal of fake things as real is called kayfabe (excellently described here by wikipedia).
In 2007 Donald Trump took part in the fake WWE by having a contest with Vince McMahon, which involved a bodyslam and a head-shaving. Watch the video, it’s pretty incredible.
One really has to ask themselves… how much of American politics is kayfabe? And if the answer is “at least some,” then are we voting for a real person or a character, played by an actor?
3. Does it make a difference who the POTUS is? Does he even have any real power?
Let’s assume that Trump isn’t just an actor and that he is actually on the side of conservatives and wants to do good. Will it be enough to get him back in office?
Ten years ago there might have been more people scoffing at the idea of a “Deep State.” But it is clear today that the character Joe Biden (whether alive or dead) cannot possibly be the guy in charge.
Well then who the hell is in charge???
Has anything ever actually gotten better under a “good” president? The national debt has grown under every president (except for a couple in the 1920s). The size of the federal government is always getting bigger. The culture has grown more perverted. Prices of everything have gone up.
Even under Trump, we had a huge increase in the debt ($6.7T), Operation Warp Speed, and covid lockdowns. Please don’t forget that under Trump, the covid lockdowns effectively made it illegal to go to church.
Here’s how you should vote
All that being said, I think that there’s at least some question of the legitimacy and effectiveness of the US election process. And if that’s the case, what is a good citizen to do? How should we vote?
Well, only you can decide which buttons to press when you commit your ballot to some mysterious computer program next week. But I say the best way to vote is with your wallet. Vote with your dollars!
Ballot Cheat Sheet
- Vote “no” for Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). Spend your money in cash (or better yet, in real money, like constitutional silver).
- Vote “no” for pesticide chemicals in your food. Only buy organically grown food.
- Vote “no” for filthy sewage being pumped into your home. Cancel your cable, Netflix, Hulu, or whatever other garbage you’re paying for. Don’t go to the movies.
- Vote “no” for big pharma. Make food your medicine and buy healthy food. Hire a natural health consultant if you’re having serious health problems instead of going to a medical doctor (at this point most MDs are essentially pharmaceutical sales reps who get paid more if they prescribe more). Don’t take vaccines and don’t let them into your kids. Big pharma is still making billions even if the cost of these medical products doesn’t seem to come out of your pocket.
- Vote “no” for globalization. Don’t shop at Walmart and Amazon.
- Vote “yes” for keeping the second amendment. Buy guns and ammo and learn how to use them.
- Vote “yes” for resilience and stability. Buy tools and equipment for making things (growing food, building with wood, sewing clothes, brewing beer) and learn how to use them.
- Vote “no” for surveillance. Buy a “dumb” phone that only does calls and texts (I use The Light Phone II). Ditch the forbidden fruit (iPhone). Stick to the email machine (desktop or laptop computer) for any web browsing you need to do.
Conclusion
I don’t know what is going to happen with the elections next week and beyond. But it probably doesn’t really matter. Going down to your precinct and “voting” isn’t likely to do nearly as much as the votes I’ve outlined above. We seem to be in a time when politics is largely theatre, designed to keep us distracted and hopeful that the big guys will take care of all the problems.
We must realize that we are responsible for our own problems. Yes, the big corporations in conjunction with the government have done incalculable damage and will continue trying to do so. But we can take away their power simply by not participating in their system. They wouldn’t last very long if their revenues dried up.
You have the power. Now get out there and vote!
